Linda Lee Blakney
38 Elm St.,
Art for me is becoming means of expressing my imagination rather than depicting things that are defined. My process is a flow of give and take, which is how I interact with colour and texture keeping me and hopefully the viewer engaged and intrigued. As I layer on paint, burnish or gouge away materials, re-introducing more colour and dimension to my work I seek to gain complexity that causes ambiguity and leads to various interpretations.

245 Grand River Ave.,
Although I enjoy creating the pots and sculptures, my greatest pleasure comes from the people who value what I do. I truly hope that you enjoy the final product of my work as much as I enjoy creating it.

Arlene creates distinctive and engaging abstract or figurative works which may include bits of collaged imagery, text or textural elements. Working from observation, memory or imagination she explores the interior landscape of memory and embedded story or allows fancy to take her to unanticipated destinations. Intuition guides her hand as as her practice is grounded in process and meditative in nature.

For my own paintings my favoured medium is acrylics. I generally work in one of two ways; either by layering paint and/or mediums or by using collage to build up the surface. Either way, the paintings often go through an abstract phase, before arriving at a finished work of art that is a floral, landscape, figurative work or abstract piece.
Thomas Stewart Robertson
399 Dumfries St.
Each work I undertake is an invitation to experiment with colour, texture, form, and light in order to ignite passion, challenge perspectives and stimulate the imagination of the viewers.
Through art I hope to encourage my viewers to explore the breadth, length, depth and height of their own being, and the mysteries of life.

128 Pleasant Ridge Rd.
I am passionate about using salvaged materials in my mixed media mosaic…rusty metals, concrete, plastics, stones, glass, etc. I am interested in work which speaks to the human condition – our relationships with one another, our reactions, our emotions, our lives and the environment around us.
